  • Product Description

The rabbit polyclonal anti-mono-methylated lysine antibody is developed using mono-methylated KLH as the immunogen, and purified with affinity agarose conjugated with N-mono-methyl (epsilon amino group) lysine residues. The antibody can be utilized for detection, quantization and isolation of proteins or peptides with mono-methylated lysine residues.
  • Scientific Description

Lysine methylation is a common protein post-translational modification, which can be found in may proteins, such as calmodulin, cytochrome C, chromosomal proteins, histones and neural storage body proteins. It is an important biochemical process for many protein-protein interactions. The mono-methylation of lysine has also been suggested to play an important role in gene silencing.

  • Storage & Stability

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, aliquot content and store product at -20°C. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if stored properly.
