S6 peptide (KRRRLASLR) is a substrate for S6K and ILK. The affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-pS6 antibodies were developed with phosphorylated S6 (KRRRLApSLR) and absorbed with the non-phosphorylated S6 peptide (KRRRLASLR). This phospho-S6 peptide antibody is utilized for the non-radioactive p70 S6K kinase assay.

The S6 substrate peptide (KRRRLASLR) is a substrate for p70 S6K and other kinases such as PKC, PKM and PKA.
