  • Product Description

Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal phosphoserine antibodies are developed using a phosphoserine-KLH conjugate and phosvitin mixture as the immunogen. The phosphoserine specific antibodies were affinity purified with serine-phosphorylated peptide immobilized on agarose. This affinity purified antibody showed higher affinity than phosphoserine antibodies from other sources.
  • Specificity

The antibody recognizes proteins and peptides phosphorylated on serine residues. There are no cross reactions with phospho-tyrosine.
  • Applications

    ELISA (1:250); WB (1:250); IP (10 µg/mg crude protein); IHC (1:50)
  • Scientific Description

Serine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids. Kinases phosphorylate serine to phospho-serine which is responsible for various signalling processes in eukaryotes.

  • Storage & Stability

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at -20°C. Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if stored properly.
