Product Description

Rabbit IgG Antibody, Fab is prepared with immobilized papain (ICP1948) followed by affinity purification with Rabbit IgG on Agarose. The use of the Fab fragment for conjugates of enzymes may produce higher signal and lower background.
Scientific Description

Fab is a monomeric antigen binding domain of an immunoglobulin G （IgG）. Digestion of the IgG will generate two monomers of Fab. The Fab is better than IgG whole molecules in terms of detection of antigen, particularly for the detection of human antigen as human cells may contain the Fc receptors.
Storage & Stability

Product is stable for 30 days at room temperature. For extended storage, store the product at -20°C. Expiration date is three years from the date of shipping if stored properly.
