The antibody is developed with full-length bovine myelin basic protein (MBP) as the immunogen. The antibody is purified with the immuno-dominant peptide (PRTPPPSQGKGRGL)-agarose. The peptide sequence is identical for most mammalian MBP. The purified antibody is conjugated with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) through reductive amination.

Recognizes bovine brain MBP. Cross-reacts with MBP from other animal species: mouse, swine, rat, chicken, human, dog, bovine and rabbits. May react with the MBP from other untested species.

Product is stable at 4°C for 12 months. For extended storage, store product at -20°C. Expiration date for extended storage is six months from date of shipping if stored properly.
