Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal phosphothreonine antibody (anti-pT) was developed using a phosphothreonine-KLH conjugate and phosvitin mixture as the immunogen. The phosphothreonine specific antibody was affinity purified with phosphothreonine immobilized on agarose.

Threonine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids. Kinases phosphorylate threonine to phospho-threonine which enters various biosynthetic pathways in the body.
