Phosphoserine antibody, biotin is developed from affinity purified rabbit anti-phosphoserine antibodies conjugated to d-biotin. The conjugates are useful for detection, identification, and quantization of serine-phosphorylated proteins and peptides.

The antibody is pan-specific against phospho-serine. It does not cross react with phospho-tyrosine but does react slightly with phospho-threonine.

Serine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids. Kinases phosphorylate serine to form phospho-serine, which is responsible for various signalling processes in eukaryotes.
