Immunoaffinity precipitated proteins from a milk sample using 0.5 mL of Phosphoprotein (pP) Antibody Agarose (ICP9888) and Biotin Antibody Agarose (ICP0615), respectively
The bound phosphoproteins were eluted from the Phosphoprotein (pP) Antibody Agarose with 1 mL of 0.1 M HCl. The protein concentration of the elution was 0.6 mg/mL.
The elution was titrated using Phosphotyrosine Antibody, HRP (ICP9902)
Protein phosphorylation is one of the most important post-translational modifications. It has been extensively studied and is believed to be one of the molecular switches for cell signaling. Simple and effective tools for rapid isolation and purification of phosphorylated proteins/peptides is essential for proteomic profiling of the phosphorylated proteins, and identifying the precise phosphorylation sites in the molecules.
>10 mg/mL of antibody covalently linked to CL-4B Sepharose
