  • Product Description

The anti-phosphoprotein (anti-pP) antibody is developed using hyper-phosphorylated proteins as the immunogen, and purified with affinity agarose beads conjugated with phospho-serine, -threonine and -tyrosine peptide. The purified antibody is immobilized to agarose beads via strong secondary amine linkage. Phosphoprotein antibody, agarose, can be utilized as an affinity matrix for rapid enrichment, isolation and purification of proteins/peptides with phospho-tyrosine/-serine/-threonine residues.
  • Specificity

Specifically capture the peptides or proteins with phosphorylated tyrosine/serine/threonine residues. No cross-reaction to non-phosphorylated peptides or proteins.
  • Applications

Rapid affinity enrichment, isolation and purification of proteins/peptides with phospho-tyosine/-serine/-threonine residues from cell lysates or protease-digested mixtures.
  • Scientific Description

Protein phosphorylation is one of the most important post-translational modifications. It has been extensively studied and is believed to be one of the molecular switches for cell signaling. Simple and effective tools for rapid isolation and purification of phosphorylated proteins/peptides is essential for proteomic profiling of the phosphorylated proteins, and identifying the precise phosphorylation sites in the molecules.
