The anti-biotin antibody is developed from goats immunized with d-biotin-KLH, and affinity purified using d-biotin-agarose. This antibody can be used for both direct and competitive ELISA for quantification of vitamin biotin, and western-blot analysis of biotinylated antibodies or proteins. Conjugating the antibody to agarose beads can also be utilized for reversible isolation, enrichment and affinity purification of biotin or biotinylated protein/peptides.

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, aliquot content and store product at –20ºC. Expiration date is six months from date of shipping if properly stored.
