The antibody is developed with full-length bovine myelin basic protein (MBP) as the immunogen. The antibody is purified with the immuno-dominant peptide (PRTPPPSQGKGRGL)-agarose. The peptide sequence is identical for most mammalian MBP. The purified antibody is conjugated with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) through reductive amination.

Recognizes bovine brain MBP. Cross-reacts with MBP from other animal species: mouse, swine, rat, chicken, human, dog, bovine and rabbits. May react with the MBP from other untested species.

Product is stable for at least 30 days at room temperature. For extended storage, store at –20ºC. Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if properly stored.
