The antibody is developed from goats immunized with mouse immunoglobulin G (IgG), and affinity purified with mouse IgG-agarose. The purified goat anti-mouse IgG antibody can be used for detection, identification, quantification, localization and affinity purification of mouse IgG from mouse serum, ascites and mouse hybridoma cell culture medium, etc .

IgG is a monomeric immunoglobulin that consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG molecule has two antigen binding sites. IgG is the most abundant immunoglobulin in the blood and tissue. It provides protection against many kinds of bacteria, viruses and fungi, and plays an important role in cell phagocytosis and bacterial toxin neutralization.

Product is stable for 30 days at room temperature. For extended storage, store product at –20ºC. Expiration date is three years from the date of shipping if properly stored.
