The anti-bovine IgG antibody is developed from rabbit by using affinity purified bovine immunoglobulin G (IgG) as the immunogen. The antibodies are subsequently purified using a bovine IgG-agarose affinity matrix. This product is useful for detection, identification, quantification and localization of bovine IgG.

IgG is monomeric immunoglobulin. It consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. It is the most abundant immunoglobulin in the blood and tissue. It provides protection against many kinds of bacteria, viruses, fungi as well as optimizes phagocytosis and neutralizes bacterial toxins.

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at –20ºC. Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if properly stored.
