Biotinylated BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) is chemically synthesized through biotinylation of the epsilon amino group on the lysine residues using NHS-activated d-biotin. The biotinylated BSA binds specifically and strongly to affinity purified anti-biotin antibodies.

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, aliquot content and store product at –20ºC. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if properly stored.
