  • Product Description

The antibody is developed using rat immunoglobulins (IgG) as immunogen, and purified with rat IgG-agarose affinity chromatography. The purified anti-rat IgG antibody is then conjugated with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). It can be used for detection, identification, quantification and localization of rat IgG.
  • Scientific Description

IgG is a monomeric immunoglobulin that consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG molecule has two antigen binding sites. IgG is the most abundant immunoglobulin in the blood and tissue. It provides protection against many kinds of bacteria, viruses and fungi, and plays an important role in cell phagocytosis and bacterial toxin neutralization.
