The antibody is developed against a specific peptide from c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK), followed by conjugation with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). It has been tested for JNK detection in human cells and mouse cells/tissues. JNK has a molecular weight ranging from 38-56 kDa, which overlaps the IgG bands. Tests using the HRP conjugated anti-JNK do not require secondary antibodies, eliminating the interference of IgG in samples.

C-Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) is a member of the mitogen-activatedprotein kinase family, which plays a central role in the regulationof cellular differentiation and proliferation. It also participates in the regulation of IL-2 and IL-2 receptor gene expression. Over-activation of the JNK induces cell death.
