ImmuneChem’s ICP0380 was used for the immunoprecipitation of acetylated peptides for MERS-CoV replicase polyprotein pp1ab

ImmuneChem’s Acetyl Lysine Antibody (ICP0380) was used for the immunoprecipitation of acetylated peptides. It was found that the enrichment efficiency of acetylated-lysine peptides was 53.2% (Zhu et al., 2020).

“In this study, acetylation sites on MERS-CoV replicase polyprotein pp1ab have been identified for the first time. The modified lysine sites are all highly conserved evolutionarily and therefore might be of crucial importance in viral adaptation to host environment” (Zhu et al., 2020).
