Specificity:
The antibody only recognizes the phosphorylated crosstide, the product of SGK and PKB in a non-radioactive kinase assay. There are no cross reactions with the non-phosphorylated crosstide.

Conjugation:
Acetylation of the primary amine with the active ester of biotin (NHS-activated d-biotin).

Crosstide (PRAATF) is a substrate of the PKB (AKT) and SGK kinase families. This affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-pCrosstide antibody is developed with phosphorylated crosstide (PRAApTF) and absorbed with non-phosphorylated crosstide. The antibody has been utilized for non-radioactive PKB and SGK kinase assays.
Scientific Description

Crosstide is a synthetic peptide with the sequence (GRPRTSSFAEG). Kinases phosphorylate crosstide to form phospho-crosstide. [1-3]
