  • Product Description

The affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-phospho-Crebtide (pCrebtide) antibodies are developed using a technique unique to ImmuneChem. The anti-pCrebtide are affinity purified using phospho-Crebtide on agarose followed by affinity adsorption with non-phospho-Crebtide. The purified phospho-Crebtide antibody is conjugated to horse radish peroxidase (HRP) via reductive amination. Direct labeling of the primary anti-pCrebtide avoids the use of secondary antibodies, therefore eliminating the interference of the secondary antibody conjugates and also facilitating the assay. These antibodies can be utilized for the detection and quantization of phosphorylated Crebtide by target protein kinases.
  • Scientific Description

Creb (cAMP response element binding) proteins are transcription factors that regulate certain activities of gene transcription. Crebtide is a peptide (KRREILSRRPSYR) derived from the Creb protein. PKC kinases phosphorylate crebtide to form phospho-crebtide.

  • Storage & Stability
