The monoclonal antibody is developed using aflatoxin B1 (AFB1)-BSA as immunogen and affinity purified with AFB1-agarose. The antibody is further conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) by reductive amination. The anti-AFB1 HRP conjugate can be utilized for detection and quantization of the food-borne mycotoxin AFB1.

Aflatoxin B1 is a food-borne mycotoxin which is carcinogenic to both humans and animals. Contamination with AFB1 in food may be harmful to humans and animals.

Product is stable for 3 months at 4°C or 6 months at -20°C. Expiration date is 6 months from date of shipping if stored below -20°C.
