ImmuneChem’s ICP0611 was used as an indicator for biotinylation in HeLa cells

February 1st, 2023

ImmuneChem’s Rabbit Anti-Biotin Antibody (ICP0611) and a secondary anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor Plus 488 (probe to biotin antibody) was used as an indicator for biotinylation in HeLa cells (Chen et al., 2022).

Rabbit anti-biotin antibody and a secondary anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor Plus 488 (probe to biotin antibody) was used as an indicator for biotinylation. Blue, nuclear staining with Hoechst 33342.

The researchers from this study were able to “optimize an EGFP-tagged monomeric streptavidin (mSA2) to serve as a biotinylation biosensor, which permits real-time monitoring of protein biotinylation in living cells (Chen et al., 2022).”
