Product Description
The His-tag (HHHHHH) antibody is immobilized to beaded agarose via amide linkages. The product could be utilized as an affinity matrix for rapid immunoprecipitation, isolation, purification and enrichment of recombinant proteins expressing the His-tag.
The His-tag protein (50 kDa) expressed cell lysate and affinity enriched by IP with His-tag antibody agarose (ICP1310) followed by WB analysis with His-tag antibody HRP conjugates (ICP0851)
1:    Molecular marker
2:    10 µL of His-tag protein in original cell lysate
3:    10 µL of His-tag protein in depleted cell lysate
4:    10 µL of His-tag protein in 100 µL of enriched buffer, eluted from 20 mL of anti-His tag, agarose (ICP1310) incubated with 2 mL of the original cell lysate. 
Antibody Immobilized
10-20 mg/mL, antibody is covalently linked through amide bonds with NHS activated-SMCC then linked to thiolated agarose beads via thiol ether bonds.
1 mL beaded agarose suspended in 2 mL of glycerol
The antibody selectively captures peptides and proteins with His-tag residues (HHHHHH).

Approximately 0.1 µmole/mL or more than 5 mg/mL of 50kDa His-tag proteins

Scientific Description
The His tag (HHHHHH) has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors. Many recombinant proteins have been engineered to express the His tag, which does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of the recombinant protein. This tag facilitates the detection, isolation, and purification of the proteins. Affinity chromatography is one of the most efficient and rapid methods to enrich and purify His-tag proteins.
