The antibody is developed from goats immunized with mouse immunoglobulin G (IgG), and affinity purified using mouse IgG conjugated agarose. The purified antibody can be used for detection, identification, quantization, localization and affinity purification of mouse IgG from mouse serum, ascites and mouse hybridoma cell culture medium, etc.

Scientific Description

IgG is a monomeric immunoglobulin that consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG molecule has two antigen binding sites. IgG is the most abundant immunoglobulin in the blood and tissue. It provides protection against many kinds of bacteria, viruses and fungi, and plays an important role in cell phagocytosis and bacterial toxin neutralization.
