  Scientific Description

IgG is a monomeric immunoglobulin that consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG molecule has two antigen binding sites. It provides protection against many kinds of bacteria, viruses and fungi, and plays an important role in cell phagocytosis and bacterial toxin neutralization.
