Product Description
This antibody was developed using Tthyroxine (T4) linked to the immunogenic carrier protein -KLH conjugates as the immunogen, The T4-specific antibodies was and affinity purified with antigen-specific affinity chromatography and eluted by competitive free T4. The antibody could be utilized for detection, quantization and affinity isolation and purification of estradiol in biofluid. 

Competitive ELISA
Immobilization: 0.5 ug/mL 100uL/well of Anti T4 (ICP1325) antibodies at 37C for 30min.
 Detection: T4 HRP (250 ng/mL, 100uL/well) at 37C for 30 min.
 Competitive Inhibition: both T4 and T3 range from 0.25 ng/mL to 50 ng/mL.

Scientific Description
Thyroxine, also called 3,5,3′,5′-tetraiodothyronine, or T4,  one of the two major hormones secreted by thethyroid gland (the other is triiodothyronine). Thyroxine’s principal function is to stimulate the consumption of oxygen and thus the metabolism of all cells and tissues in the body. Thyroxine is formed by the molecular addition of iodine to the amino acid tyrosine while the latter is bound to the protein thyroglobulin. Excessive secretion of thyroxine in the body is known as hyperthyroidism, and the deficient secretion of it is called hypothyroidism
